About the Artist
Based in Long Beach, California, I create works that explore atmospheric qualities and weather patterns through both representative and abstract interpretations. While my artistic journey began with hyper-realistic detailed pieces, my current work embraces a more conceptual, intuitive approach. Using dense textures of thick paint and cold wax, I create fluid environments that transcend gravitational bounds, inviting viewers to slow down and discover multiple layers of interpretation.
My work has been featured in several exhibitions with the Long Beach Creative Group, including “Coming Together: An Exhibition of Small Works” (2021) and “Fragments of Self of History of Identity” (2023). The 2021 exhibition was particularly notable, earning recognition in KAHLOCREATIVE’s publication for its exceptional artist participation and execution.
